The Danbi Udo station in Guji, operated by Hailu Abebe of Demand Trading PLC, is known for producing exceptional Ethiopian coffees. Farmers handpick ripe cherries, and the mill carefully sorts and processes them before dry milling in Addis Ababa to preserve quality. Grown at 1,950–2,200 masl in rich volcanic soils and shaded forest canopies, these coffees develop remarkable clarity and sweetness. Local smallholders often intercrop with fruits and legumes and rely on organic inputs to maintain soil health.
